all things mixed up
This is perhaps the most famous party cocktail of all, and probably the best tequila cocktail ever made. Appealing, fresh, and vibrant, the Margarita is perfectly balanced. The taste of the tequila is tempered by the other ingredients, so that the hit is not of alcohol, but of something much more delicious and complex. The effect is boosted by the salt on the rim of the glass, which reinforces the flavours of the cocktail as you sip, and takes away the sharpness of lime, leaving only a thirst-quenching citrus taste.
You need:
* 30ml (1 oz) freshly squeezed lime juice
* 15ml (1/2 oz) triple sec
* 45ml (1 1/2 oz) white tequila
* Slice of lime
* Fine salt
* Shaker
* Strainer
* Frosted Martini or Margarita glass
* Saucer
First you need to “salt” the glass. Gently and evenly rub a thin slice of lime around the glass’s rim. Lightly roll the rim in a saucer of salt. Turn the glass upright and set aside to dry while you pour all the cocktail ingredients into an ice-filled shaker. Shake them well and strain into the glass. Although the salted rim is the main garnish, you can decorate with a twist of lime, too.

Good post… Just to note when applying the salt to the rim, make sure the lime is applied to the outside of the rim and the salt will then only stick to the outside of the rim. You don’t want salt mixing with your drink in the glass. Best to use sea salt too
Keep up the good work!
It sounds lecker!!!
